Consistent with its purpose, the curriculum of Valley Christian Academy is designed to cooperate closely with parents in every phase of the student's development, especially relating to the school program and to:
SPIRITUAL
Introduce students to the Lord Jesus Christ in such a way that they will
want to accept Him as their personal Savior;
Provide an educational process that will teach the Word of God in all its
truth and purity, developing attitudes of love and respect for God's Word;
MENTAL
Emphasize the fundamentals to enable each student to achieve their
academic potential;
Provide a clean, efficient environment, conducive to learning where the
student may learn good study habits as well as how to live a well balanced
Christian life consistent with the Word of God;
Explore and utilize educational resources both in and outside the
classroom;
SOCIAL
Encourage development of self-discipline and responsibility in the student
based on respect for and submission to God and those in a position of
authority over them;
Create opportunities for the social interaction and development of each
student;
Foster a healthy regard for the value of self and others and an appreciation
for the potential given to all by God;
Facilitate opportunities for service within school, church, community and
the world;
PHYSICAL
Instill an appreciation for the importance of physical well-being and activity
through physical activity of both a competitive and recreational nature.
